Lagardère studio shot Paris during lockdown
Thursday 28 May 2020
Lagardère Studios shot Paris during lockdown. Initiated by Atlantique Productions, this project was made possible thanks to the Paris Police Headquarters, the Paris City Hall and the support of the Parisian group TSF.
For two days, a team filmed the deserted streets of the capital using a travelling car. A Paris without cars, scooters or bicycles... The objective for Lagardère Studios was to keep a cinematic record of this historic event.
A total of 23 hours of rushes are available in 4K format. These rushes will form an image bank to which governmental and cultural institutions will have free access. Commercial exploitation will be managed by Lagardère Studios Distribution and the proceeds will be donated to the Paris Hospitals (AP HP).
The participants in the project are all based in the Paris region: the TSF group supplied the cameras; Cascadeur Action provided the travelling car; Eric Bassof did the post-production with the help of the company Labo Paris.
