French Safety Guidelines from CCHSCTs

Thursday 28 May 2020

In response to the Covid 19 pandemic, the CCHSCTs of the audiovisual and film/advertising production sector have drawn up a "Guide to health safety recommendations for audiovisual and film/advertising production activities".

Intended for professionals, it proposes a common base of preventive measures necessary for the resumption of activity and shooting in France. This guide will evolve regularly according to the health situation and government regulations and will also be supplemented by "profession/department sheets" to meet the needs of each individual.

Consult the online version (French version only)

In the current version, the 49-page guide is structured in two parts: "Before considering the takeover" and "Preparing for the takeover". This second part highlights the general measures to be adopted but also the specific measures for each phase of your project:
preparation/ sets, costumes, props/ shooting/ post-production.

It also proposes in appendix 1 some interesting decision support tools for location scouting, assistant directors or directors looking for their future sets, distinguishing between indoor and outdoor locations.

Aimed at better preparing companies and professionals in the image industry, this guide was written to complement the national protocol for the deconfinement of companies published by the Ministry of Labor.
